Ok, so I have decided that I'm going to do my own music on an ipod. My venue has speakers throughout so i can plug my ipod in and simply press play. I figured it's one less expense and I'm going to play the music that I want played. Is anyone else doing this?? How are you doing your preludes, bride...

That's something I don't think I'd skimp out on. A good dj almost acts as a coordinator. Shop around, there's gotta be someone out there in your budget!

I know I'm biased, but you could consider live music for the ceremony so you don't need to worry about timing as much, then ipod for the reception. A single musician (piano, guitarist, HARP lol) shouldn't run you TOO much.
