I’m getting married today. Hairstylist is an hour late.

Ugh this is what wedding nightmares are made of. I'm sorry you're dealing with this, I can't imagine. Are you meeting her at a salon? Are there other stylists there working?

Just think about how hot your sweetheart is going to look like when you first see them as you walk down the aisle!!!

Start brainstorming who else can do your hair (if needed). A girlfriend or family member? Another stylist at the salon? Maybe your makeup artist has connections? In fact, try reaching out to your MUA now and give them a heads up about the situation! They may be able to bring someone with them to help or start planning how to work around doing your makeup and hair at the same time.

In the whole scheme of things, I'd say hair is perhaps not the most important detail of the day so try not to let it get to you. You are going to look amazing regardless and you and your future spouse are going to have a wonderful day! Best of luck!

Try not to let it be a big deal, she will handle you firstout of everyone so you'll be perfect either way but definately is unprofessional. She might have had an emergency so keep in mind her side too. You don't this to ruin the begining of a beautiful day

I’m so sorry! Take a deep breath and try to stay calm. If she’s been professional so far, maybe something happened -eg medical emergency, car accident, who knows. Depending on how you know her (if through a friend) call that friend maybe to check on her, or if through a salon, call the salon. You are on a tight time frame, so pull up google and start calling some salons! Explain your situation, someone might be understanding and able to squeeze you in.

Thanks everyone, for your well wishes and love!!!! Eventually I did hear from her and she did my hair as planned. My bridesmaid did not feel she was apologetic enough...but I let it go because I didn’t want anything to bring me down on my day. I will never go back to her again. It was a weird situation and I was super disappointed.

That said, my day was perfect and I married the most amazing man and his vows were perfect and yay!!!! I am so happy. 🥰🥰🥰

I feel you! Mine was a half hour late and it took 3 hours for her to actually start my hair because she kept doing everything else but it!!
