I'm gonna be on my period on my wedding night!!

Periods are bodily functions and not really "tooo personal" IMO. We all get them, hopefully most of us without issues.

^hahahaha, and I thought only men were frightened by period talk. I didnt know it was still a vulgar topic. As if tampon, condom, and bc commericals dont air million times a day *rolls eyes*

My brother gets really uncomfortable around period talk so sometimes I just say the words "bloody tampon" to mess with him lol

Laudie: LMAO that's awesome. Sometimes FH complains about my period, or wants me to hurry up in the bathroom. I tell him, it's ok honey you can come in. Just be prepared for a bloody tampon. He shuts up very quick lol

Haha I love making men be quiet sometimes...it is so funny how you don't even have to be on your period and it makes them squirm! It's part of life boys!

I literally had to tell my fiance how periods work.. he doesn't understand the concept of a tampon and how it can just stay in there by itself

@laudie: FH hates period talk (but will strangely buy FHPs [feminine hygiene products] as he likes to call them) so I will tell him "hold on honey, gotta go to the bathroom and change my plug." Freaks him out every time!

We don't usually have sex during AF's visit, but I have every intention of using my bc pills to avoid being on mine during the honeymoon. It isn't the end of the world though. My advice, as others have given: shower sex or put a towel down.
