I'm having a cinderella theme wedding......

STB Mrs Lebron, on June 28, 2010 at 1:33 AM Posted in Style and Décor 1 21

And I was wondering if any one else is also having the same theme. Also what have you done to tie the cinderella movie in to your wedding?I was thinking about using satin pillows with a glass slipper place on the top for my center pieces.Any more ideas about a cinderella theme wedding, I would love to hear them.

Its such a great theme beacause they have so much more cinderella themed items for weddings. They have those favors with the glass ( plastic) shoes with candy in them , they have the guestbook sets on ebay . There are alot fo cinderella castle cake toppers or the horse and carriage in the pumpkin shape. You have so much time and so many options how great

My FS and I aren't doing Cinderella, but we are considering using these adorable frames for favors at each table setting. http://www.amazon.com/Pewter-Castle-Photo-Frame-Favor/dp/B000VOJHOA

I posted something a long time ago about an idea I had for pictures, asking your photographer to snap shots of your and your Hubby in the 'famous' poses of prince/princess'. ie) you running down steps of church w/out a shoe and hubby behind with one shoe.

If you haven't chosen stationery yet, Carlson Craft has a Disney collection. Here are a few of my favorites:

    Cute ideas!

@Rachel...I love those frames! For a minute I thought you were crazy, though, bc I didn't see "set of 40" and thought they were $61 each! LOL

I love ur theme, I wanted to be a princess bride too. =)

    Suggestions:

    1) for a bridal gown: look for a princess type gown (A-line/ballgown) with lots of spakle

    2) for accessories: tiaras, gloves, fur wrap, etc.

    3) for bridal car/getaway car: try carriage instead of limo

    4) for favors: try carriage or castles too.

    5) for cake toppers: i saw a cute castle on top of a cake, it looks stunning:

    That's all I have for now. =)

I thought of a great way to tie the movie into your wedding!! Ok so on the part where he puts the slipper on her foot... Play That part as he takes the garter off of you! Or you can mix things up and he can put your shoes (slipper) on you right before your 1st dance. Hope this helps!!

Play some of the songs from the movie at your reception like, so this is love.. for your first dance song....get some white pumkins and spray them with glitter for your centerpieces and have a glass slipper next to it...just some ideas to throw at ya....so many things you can do with that theme.

WHERE DO YOU LIVE? THERE MIGHT BE A CASTLE LOOK A LIKE VENUE. SAN ANTONIO TEXAS HAS THE CSATL AVALON.

MAKE SURE YOU USE BLING, CYSTALIZE DUST SOLD AT MICHAELS. MAYBE SOME ORGAZNA FABRIC DRAPING EVERYWHERE.

I USE TO HAVE A CINDERELLA CARRIAGE CAKE STAND (HUGE) BUT SOLD IT UP NORTH. CHECK OUT ORIENTAL TRADING.

Oh how sweet! Okay so my best friend had a disney/fall themed wedding ... They played the music from various movies during their cocktail hour ... when they recessed they played the theme from Beauty and the Beast ... She wore a gorgeous tiara and she truly did look like a princess ... And we had glitter up to our ears by the time we finished all her centerpieces and cake toppers and invites. What I would do is try and get pricing on a horse and carriage that you and your groom can leave in, make sure your dress is naturally a disney princess dress (Alfred Angelo is releasing a Disney line) and next time you watch the movie, watch it with a discerning eye so you can pick things out that you want to incorporate into your wedding Smiley smile

Hi I live in united kingdom and was wondering how much it would cost for the carriage with real crystal slipper as I would really like these for my table centre pieces.
