I'm looking for Unique ideas!

For our wedding we had a couple of unique things. Instead of a traditional guest book we had two jerseys (1 baseball & 1 hockey) that we had our guests sign. We also had escorts cards that looked like tickets to a hockey game. My husband built our card box that looked like a mini house. My grandmother wrote and read a poem for our ceremony. My sister-in-law created a slide show with photos of my husband and I that was played on a loop on a computer by the entrance of the reception. We wanted our wedding to be very personalized and reflect us.

My husband and I bonded over our love of Disney when we dated (and he worked there). That’s why a “Pirates of Caribbean” wedding was very us.

I’m having a few unique things. I have a custom beauty and the beast cardbox and guestbook. I’m doing a crystal bouquet. My ring holder is a rose holder.

Neither my husband nor myself are big dancers, so we happily omitted the traditional "first dance". We are, however, big beer snobs and so we decided to open the bottle of beer we got on our engagement trip, we did a "first toast" together instead. Best decision ever. It saved us a LOT of time learning a dance, and was way less stressful.

Honestly don't find weddings to be unique anymore haha but we did have our own DIY boba bar. boba bars are really trendy now
