I would recommend finding a coordinator. I did everything wedding related by myself. Im the planner, decorator, I did my own invitations and everything else. The only thing is on the day of its best to have a point person to take care of things if any problems arise. To make sure the day of flows properly, make sure the vendors arrive on time & are doing what they are supposed to. You dont want to be dealing with a whole bunch of things and ppl tugging at you because theres an issue or something needs your attention. I want to enjoy the day as much as I can without having to be hands on with everything the day of.

Meet with a couple times before my date so that I may relay to them my vision for the day. And I’ll have the day to relax and couple minutes before the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception to double check their work.

I'm doing the same for the most part! I'm also a designer and I pretty much have our STDs and invites made even though our wedding isn't until October of next year. Our venue does have a day of coordinator that I'll utilize, but I figure since we're having 2 years to plan I can do a lot of that stuff myself.
