I'm so confused

If you don't already have colors or a theme then coming up with a budget and looking at venues is a good place to start. Start writing down the things that are most important to you that you feel like you can't imagine your day without and have your fiancé do the same. It's also helpful to get a planning book since they will sort of walk you through the steps of what needs to be done when.

As far as being a bridezilla, just do your best to try and take a step back from planning as much as you can. I think we all can get a little crazy when you've been immersed in planning for a perfect day and the little things start going awry. I think that's also why it's important to write down what you think are your main wants so if the other stuff isn't exactly what you were thinking you can remind yourself of what you really really wanted, and the rest will come as is.

Don't be afraid to have your fiancé help! He's got to have an opinion on something, even if it's like food or suits. You guys are in this together, so wedding planning is a great time to start working together on a big goal. Good luck!

I started by making a wedding board on Pinterest, it helped me narrow down the colors I liked and what the decor/vibes I was most drawn to. I used that information too look into venues in our selected area (for example, rustic, modern, barn, garden, outdoors, etc). We visited a few, but completely fell in love with one of them, and once we booked it, I felt like everything else just fell into place! Especially because the venue we selected is all inclusive (highly suggest getting one of those) and, for anything they don't provide, they have a list of recommended vendors they know and trust that you can select from. It's made my planning SO much easier. If you feel overwhelmed, take a deep breath and remember to take it step by step, you don't have to have everything selected immediately.
