I'm so nervous

Blair, on October 8, 2020 at 10:26 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 14

My wedding is Saturday and for some reason I have jitters all over today. What do you all do to relax?

I really just tried not to stress myself out, but the day of the wedding all of that went out of the window lol. I kept busy the week of the wedding making sure that everything was ready and together.

Go get your nails done with friends or do a date night out/movie night in with your fiance! Or do some meditation. Focus on something other than the wedding for a few hours. Also, you could go over your checklists one more time, and also double check that you have everything all set so you don't forget anything. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

Sounds like a great plan! I'm sure that will help a bit.

I second the mani/pedi idea! I did that along with dinner out at our favorite pub a couple of days before our wedding and it was a nice break in what was a super busy week to just relax for a while. Enjoy the excitement these next few days, and congratulations!

I normally exercise. A bonus from that was losing 12 lbs.

This may sound silly, but an impromptu dance session to your favorite dance tunes is a great way to get those jitters out. And I mean the kind of dancing like no one is watching that makes you laugh at your own moves. That’s been my go lately when stress piles up this past couple weeks.

I think it is normal to be nervous because it is such an important day. I plan on having brunch with my MOH and one of my good friends (if she can make it) before hair and make up appt. I will be bringing my personalized water bottle and drinking some champagne while getting hair and make up done. Going to enjoy getting ready with my MOH and then let's do it. I think hang with your girls...have a wine night to take your mind off and get hyped up.
