#4: Why gold? I wanted gold silverware, plates everything for my wedding as well. But it was expensive to rent or buy special silverware, especially when my caterer already provided it. So i got over the idea that my silver ware had to be gold. IMHO though. I saved a ton of money by using what provided to me by our caterer/event center. No one will notice or care anyway. As long as it's sturdy and clean

#5: Check the vendor tab and search your area for rentals. Check the prices and compare them to buying everything yourself. It might be cheaper in the end.

They make some quality plastic silverware that looks great (if you're open to plastic). I found some on amazon.

Just got a set of gold silverware for work for $1 each from Target....

Target has them! They're pretty reasonably priced

(About $1 ish) and it's good quality! I bought mine instead because it ended up being the same cost as renting it!

Thanks for all of the help, how did you get them for $1 from Target? I see they have some for $2 each but just was curious if there was a sale or some I was missing.

I bought them when they were on sale. It was on sale and they had a $10 GC off of $50 in housewares or something like that. Just keep an eye for the sale! It happens once in a while. Your wedding is not until mid 2018 so you have time!

I seen some at Bed Bath & Beyond. I am also pretty certain that smarty had a party has heavy plastic.
