I want to include my mom more in my wedding but I don’t know how. I don’t want her to walk me down the aisle with my dad. I was thinking about maybe having a mother daughter dance but is there anything else anyone might’ve done that’s different that included their mom during their wedding day? She’ll definitely be with me getting ready and taking pictures with her before the ceremony but any ideas on something she could do besides that? I want her to feel included in the actual day of the wedding instead of just the planning. I want her to feel honored in some way.

Are you planning to get her a special corsage with your florist? I know people usually do that as a way to honor important people. Then like you said you could do a special dance, you (or a sibling if you have any) could give a speech to honor her & let her know how much you appreciate and love her. At a wedding I just went to they had the father walking down the isle with the bride and once they reached the end the mother stood up and they both “gave her away”. Maybe that’s a possibility if you don’t want her walking down the isle?

Lindsey has some great ideas listed out! I've seen all of these done, and it was really sweet!
You could also see if you can find an artist to paint/draw an old picture of you and her when you were little? That with a sweet note to her would be really special as well!

My mom got a corsage, she walked down the isle with my brother, and she did a reading.
Plus got ready with me and helped me with my dress.
