Indecisive on color

Lynne, on January 22, 2022 at 10:55 AM Posted in Planning 1 7
I could use some suggestions on colors.
Our colors are fuchsia and cornflower. But, I'm beginning to think fuchsia is the wrong color for a summer garden ceremony. It is a bright color.
First picture is fuchsia and cornflower blue. Second is cornflower blue and lilac. Indecisive on color 1

If you are looking for a softer color palette involving cornflower blue, blush and peach seem to be a very popular option. Also, there are many different shades of cornflower blue. I will attach a photo that used several different shades of cornflower blue to create an ombre affect that is really pretty.

Thank you for the ideas. Cornflower blue is definitely the color for the guys, FH really likes the color.

You were drawn to fushia for a reason. You don't have to soften your look. Here's Fushia and purple with hints of yellow (blue curtain).Indecisive on color 10

And balls of carnations on a neutral backdrop. Gentlemen in grey with bouts, ties, or pocket squares in your colors?

I'm going to add fuchsia to the bouquets. But not for the dresses.

On the computer screen that fuchsia looks insanely neon, but I think in real life, fuchsia decor (such as flowers) will look great. You can add little touches of it here and these such as on your cake, invitations, some bright pink flowers in the bouquets, and even pocket squares for the groomsmen. You can also wear fuchsia or blue shoes under your gown.

This palette has the potential to look super cotton candy bubblegum bright, so you'll have to see the pinks in person to make sure it won't overwhelm the photos. But you don't have to do away with it altogether, have fun with it!

If you will not have fushia in fabric, florals have a nice range of bright pink, even stargazer lilies. You could also do fushia uplighting. Jasmine also has other great ideas to incorporate it in your decor and you can still keep cornflower in your colorscheme. Have fun Indecisive on color 14

Yes, you could still do fuschia, but pops of it in the florals, as opposed to the dresses.
