Inexpensive cake server and toasting flutes set

NLeo, on January 6, 2014 at 10:08 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 16

Does anyone know where I can find an inexpensive set of cake servers and toasting glasses? I've looked on etsy, amazon, ebay, oriental trading and more. I was hoping to spend no more than $30 for a set. I'm fine if they're plain. I plan to DIY them anyway and can etch my own. But I'm finding almost double the price. Anyone seen a good deal? I'd prefer the stems be metal though since we have to travel with them. Thanks!

David's Bridal has a whole set for $29 but it's very hard to find online. If you have a franchise close by, check'em out.

I think the dollar store has glass toasting flutes and then you can got get them personalized if you like.

Hobby lobby or Michaels has knife for $10. Or ask your family if you can borrow Grandma's. I'm sure your venue has one too if you don't care to keep it.

If you dont care what they look like then what is the problem with Oriental Trading? All of their sets are under $25 and they have several different ones.

Your venue will probably have them, or your local thrift shop.
