If you are talking table linens, I wasn't able to find any. Renting and buying were out of my budget so I am buying the material from Hobby Lobby and my sister is helping me hem them for our square tables. To make 16 table cloths I'm only spending about $65. I am buying colored napkins instead of renting as well.

I don't know about you all but before I started planning a wedding, I would have never dreamed that RENTING linens could be SO expensive!!!! I don't know what we will be doing yet......

Check out linentablecloth.com. They are pretty inexpensive - we're thinking of using them because they actually cost less than rentals. I found out about them through the forums here a while ago.

I found a place on ebay where I bought my chair covers and sashes for the same price I found them at the cheapest rental place in town, which was still charging me $3 per chair. I paid about $300 for 100 satin chocolate brown chair coversa and 100 teal organza sashes. Then when the wedding is over I will just resell them and recoup at least part of my money. Smiley smile

I got them within 4 days of paying, the quality of the chair covers seems a bit thin, and I haven't tried them on my chairs yet, I will update when I do. But they have all glowing reviews so I'm not too worried about it. Smiley smile

I bought mine from linentablecloth's eBay store. At the time I purchased, it was cheaper than the website. They both occassionally run specials, but not at the same time.

Purchasing was cheaper than renting, I'll recoup some of my investment by selling them after the wedding is done.

Another place to check is the preowned wedding sites- recycledbride.com, preownedwedding.com, and the weddingbee.com classified section. You may find some deals there.

Kristy.....maybe see if you can find a venue-twin and you can split the cost of the linens together?

Im doing that with my lovely venue-twin, Angela on shepards hooks! :-)

I'm actually just gonna get some plastic table covers from dollar tree (ok, well I guess it depends on what tables we rent). Ah, cheapness is wonderful. LOL!

I bought all my table linens from smartyhadaparty.com and then the linen napkins from efavormart.com

I saved hundreds from buying instead of renting.

For a full 120" round and a 90" square taffeta overlay it was around $15-18 a table. I was quoted $30-35 from the rental company. Plus I can resell and get some money back.
