Hobby Lobby, Michael's or Jo-Ann - however, you're looking at 49 cents to 69 cents per sheet - Michael's often has coupons for 20% off your entire order, including sales items - you just have to be strategic about when you make your purchase!

Michaels sells packages of shimmery cardstock and often you can find them on sale, or use a coupon for them. They are relatively inexpensive.. look in the scrapbooking aisles! The only thing about Michaels is that you may not be able to buy packages of just one color...usually they are multi-color. Buttt from my experience, usually still the cheaper way to go.

Most shimmer and metallic card stocks can only be printed by laser printing. If you have an inkjet, you may need to find a printing service to assist you. Any of the places listed above are suitable for finding samples for testing the papers you are seeking. Paper-papers.com is another great option.

I found my shimmery paper at Jo-anns in the clearance bin. 10 sheets/1.99 (I think)

Jo-anns scrapbook paper (at least in my area) will be on sale 5/$1 the weekend of the 19-21

I purchase my paper from www.paperandmore.com (Pearl White Metallic Card Stock 107#, 8 1/2 x 11). I used by inkjet printer to print my invitations...a little advice make sure you change your setting on you printer to high glossy photo paper so the ink will dry a lot quicker and want smear.

Joanns is having a sale 40% off all paper crafting items in addition to the 5/$1. I just bought a package of ivory shimmer paper 20ct for $3.59.

This is where I got the specialty paper for my DIY programs. I haven't had any problems with the company and it is the same paper you can get locally but cheaper.

We used CardsandPockets.com as well. They can do everything from just supplying sheets of the paper to printing and cutting everything.

Could you see the shimmer through the ink at all or does it cover it completely?
