Inexpensive wedding venue

You can check out Aurum Events in Freehold. We looked at them. The space is really cool and they don't have a liquor license so it's BYOB. We decided to go with a different venue because they don't have an outdoor ceremony space, which we really wanted. Otherwise, we really liked everything they had to offer.

Take a look at Bishop Farmstead in Southampton, NJ. It’s where I’m getting married in September. It's a beautiful barn with an outside area for the ceremony. The venue is BYOB which will save you a lot of money. Jeffrey A Miller Catering is the exclusive cater at this venue. They are all about fresh ingredients, farm-to-table food and the packages they offer include the wedding cake. Take a look at the link below. They also have other venues in NJ and PA.

I have spent SO much time on hunting for an affordable venue. Not sure what style you’re looking for or your time of year but I will share with you the cheapest I’ve found!

Sure! So out of the ones I mentioned, that one is a little more pricey. it is an all inclusive type of venue, but has the best prices out of many of the all inclusive type venues I've seen. I will copy and paste the info they sent me and also attach the pdf of information for you!

"The following is some information you may find helpful when planning for a Chauncey wedding. Attached you will find our Wedding Packages.

Our Garden Pavilion Tent can accommodate up to 130 guests for a buffet reception or 160 guests for a plated reception (set allows for a DJ or small band). We can also rent in a “bump out” to allow seating for 215. The round tables, Chiavari chairs, tent, dance floor and cream on cream linens are included in the menu pricing. The tent has clear sides that can be closed, so it may be used rain or shine. The tent does not include the rental of air conditioning or heat units.

Our indoor venue, the Solomon Dining Room can accommodate up to 150 guests for a plated or 100 buffet reception with dancing in the same room.

We also have our Laurie House, our bed and breakfast, available for House Exclusive rental. Our Laurie House has just gone through a renovation and has all new paint, décor and Ethan Allen furniture. This is a great location for the Bridal party/Groomsmen to stay overnight and get ready the morning of. There are 7 total sleeping rooms in the Laurie House including two suites. The house is reserved on an exclusivity basis. With house exclusivity, you will have access to all sleeping rooms, living room, foyer, library, and patio. We can also provide room block of rooms in our main hotel. Guestrooms in the main building are available and includes our breakfast buffet for up to 2 guests. We can block up to 10 rooms per night.

NOTE. We do have plenty of our hotel rooms open in our Main Hotel. Our Garden Pavilion Tent is setup from May - October.

The other two ive seen that aren't too bad which I forgot to mention,which again, are not necessarily DIY venues but are on the less expensive side are:

Barn Swallow Farms in Northampton PA- this one is nice because they have alllll the tables chairs, decorations, bar, pretty much everything you need and they have a list of less expensive catering companies. and it is beautiful.

The Farm Bakery and Events in Quakertown PA-- this one is a diy. they are super nice people. They have the tables and chairs, and let you do whatever you want for catering. Another huge money saver.

Memorytown Country Inn in Mt Pocono PA- this is an all inclusive type venue

Architects Country Club- another all inclusive.
