My flower girl (flower baby?) is the daughter of one of my bridesmaids. She'll only be 13 months old at my wedding. Does anyone have any gift suggestions? I made her a tote bag similar to the ones for bridesmaids. Obviously she won't be able to understand/appreciate the gifts, but I was thinking maybe a book about being a flower girl that she might be able to read when she's older and learn about her special role? What are some things I can put in her tote bag?
Also, has anyone had any experience with flower girls of this age? She'll probably just come down the aisle with her mom. Depending on development level, she may get pushed in a vintage baby carriage. It's more of an honorary role than anything else-- I'm not expecting a lot from her. Worst case, we list her in the program but don't involve her in the ceremony (especially if she freaks out at the rehearsal).
