insanity workout

I was thinking about P90X.. I would love to hear opinions.. and maybe comparisons?...

Yes, I have it and I love it! I am in the middle of week 2 (I just started). I like it better than P90x because the workouts are shorter (about 40 min). FH is doing it with me and he prefers P90x since insanity is all cardio. I like insanity better because you don't need as much stuff to do the workouts and sometimes I travel (aka you don't need a pull-up bar, bands, and free weights wherever you go).

Needless to say...I love Insanity and P90x and will probably end up doing a hybrid if i can make it through the 60 days

I have done p90x before and I didnt make it through the full 90 days but I feel like I need more cardio then the weight lifting.. Is there any cheaper way to get this besides on the beachbody website?

Try craigslist? or ebay?

Be leery of Craigslist and other discount offers on programs like P90X and Insanity! All too often people find they were short changed and a dvd has been left out, or parts were bootlegged (very poorly at that). Maybe you can get lucky and find someone who used it and has no need for it anymore, but make sure to ask questions like, "is it complete? is there damage? is this is the original or a copy?" That being said, a friend of mine took the Insanity challenge after having a baby and not being able to find a gym with day care. She's a MP with the Army and she says it did everything. She looks like a beast! I lift religiously and yet her shoulders put mine to shame.

My finace and I purchased P90X, and while it's a great workout, I've found that I really prefer going to the gym. I just don't have the motivation to work out at home when my couch is right there

I agree Kimber.. Im going to set up something in the basement where a couch is not insight.. nothing but my tv and the hard cement floor lol

I downloaded Insanity once to try out and it was wayyyyyy to intense for me lol. Great cardio workout for someone that is in good shape already. I was doing tae bo advanced and looking for something harder.... well i tried insanity and it was TOO hard haha.

I have it and it is extremely intense! I think i did 2 workouts an dit has been sitting in my dvd case for about 4 mos now but i do plan to be motivated to complete it starting this sunday...crosses fingers...wish me luck...lol

YES, I have it, it works pretty good, at first It kicks your butt but later on you will see results...Also Brazilian Butt lift, I have done that one too, I had results after 10 days of doing it, specially on your butt, legs and I lost 3 inches of my waist in 10 days, =D.. good luck

My FH does it & loves it ! But the first time he about died! lol

OMG, I just bought it and it came today! FH and I are gonna start on Monday. I'm excited but FH said he doesn't like it that type of exercise. He's doing it for me though!

We have it and I love it. My FH is a little more serious about it then I am (he does it everyday and then goes to the gym). It's something that you have to stick with. At first you want to quit but, if you keep at it, you will notice a big difference by week two.

I think im going to buy it Friday! I have the motivation...its called a wedding in 6 months and a honeymoon lol! Good luck to all of you ladies on your workouts

Iv done P90X and love it, I think im going to start doing it again you really do see results fast!
