International Part Two Reception

It sounds like your family abroad just really wants to be a part of celebrating your marriage, which is awesome! If you like the idea of the reception, then I would let them throw it for you! If you feel silly calling at a wedding reception, you could make it a vow renewal (if you would like to renew your vows in front of them), or it could be a 2 year anniversary party.

But I know sans-pandemic we would have been more able to something really big in one place where people flew in, etc. If you were me, would you do another wedding dress? View Quoted Comment I think you should do whatever you feel beautiful in! If you loved your first dress and want an opportunity to wear it again, then I definitely would! Especially if you plan to do a vow renewal. Or, if you’re like me and take every opportunity you can get to buy new clothes 😆then you could also get an entirely new dress for the occasion.

If you want to wear your wedding dress again, go for it! You could also wear a shorter white dress or something new - it's totally up to you!
