Intimate ceremony ideas (covid edition)

Katelin, on July 5, 2020 at 8:52 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 5
Hiyya again 👋🏼 A few months ago we decided to have a quick, small and intimate ceremony with local family only (15-20) people at a beautiful gazebo on a lake. We’ve postponed our big reception to January and we’ll just have a vow renewal when ALL of our friends and family can go.
Now we’re three weeks away and I’m starting to panic because I was originally planning on saving all of the traditional stuff and decorations for the big ceremony in January.
All I’ve done is purchase a unity set and a small wedding cake 😂What all would you guys want to do?

I am doing an intimate ceremony with just our two good friends. My MOH just got her dress, we are walking in/out to songs, will have professional pics and if things are not shut down I have reserved a rooftop place that we have wanted to go to for awhile for food and drinks in a cabana. I am making the day as wedding-ish as possible.

We put up some curtains I bought off of Amazon for like 20 bucks and hung up a garland from Michaels.

If you're trying to keep it really small and low key, you don't have to do a lot, just do whatever feels essential to you. I would add a little bit of music for the processional and recessional, some flowers (even if it's just a small bouquet and a boutoniere), and some champagne/another drink you like (with or without alcohol) to toast with.

It is outside you don't need much.

you can use candles, you can do baby' breath to decorate which is cost effective maybe a chalk board you can use for both.
