Intimate Small Beach wedding in Florida

Wendy, on October 6, 2020 at 5:14 PM Posted in Florida Planning 0 3

Hi everyone!

I'm planning my wedding and it is becoming too stressful. I don't know what I really want to do to be honest. What I do know is that we want a small intimate wedding with about 20-30 guests. We would love the ceremony at the beach in Clearwater Beach Florida and a reception but the thing is we do not know where exactly. We are trying to keep our budget small and not to exceed over 4k and I'm having a hard time doing so. Maybe I'm overthinking too much on details. Any help and suggestions is very much appreciated.

Thank you

Well I can recommend my officiant who also acts as a day of planner. A guy I met at a yelp event is from Chicago but wanted to get married around the Gulf but south of Clearwater and she helped him as a day of coordinator. Her name is Yaima and she has contacts she can help you with. This is her website: https://live2loveweddings.com/

There are restaurants afterwards. You might also be able to do the Hyatt at Clearwater Beach as someone just had an intimate wedding there I saw on a blog. I am going to recommend this blog Marry Me Tampa Bay for a lot of inspiration. My officiant is reasonably priced and she has helped me so much so I would strongly recommend contacting her. If you need to I can also recommend cake places and my photographers and hair and make up artist. I will say for that budget might be cheaper to do the ceremony and go to a restaurant with a private room and there are plenty around Clearwater. I can recommend the Columbia which is near clearwater beach and huge as well as there are hotels nearby. https://marrymetampabay.com/intimate-destination-florida-wedding-hyatt-regency-clearwater-beach/

We got married at the Hyatt Clearwater and had about 55 people. Depending on what kind of menu you want and how many people you end up with that might work. I would at least call them and get a price list. There are also a few other great hotels on the area that do weddings. I found most of my vendors on this site for our wedding. Wish you the best of luck.

Kristen and Cyndy have great recommendations!

I'd definitely consider all restaurants, hotels, and local country clubs as potential reception venues - they are likely to have smaller dining & event rooms you can use!
