You are already on the right track with keeping the cost of the dress low and the guest list intimate. Have you considered looking at purchasing a pre-loved wedding dress? Or perhaps a bridesmaid’s dress or something from a department store or your favorite online retailer in white.

Hosting an intimate reception at a restaurant is another great idea for keeping costs low, as well as having a small guest list, a small (or no) wedding party, and skipping extra costs like Save The Dates, programs, and favors.

Will Miami be a destination wedding for you, or are you keeping things local?

Yes Miami will be the place, it’s so expensive even a simple dinner. I am patiently doing my research and positive thinking, just having fun planning. Thanks for your reply and motivation.

I suggest reaching out to Galuppi's in Pompano Beach. They are super affordable. I was able to have my first wedding there, we had 30 people and it was under $2000. I did not have open bar but I did have plated meals and they can also include the cake.

I'm having my wedding at benvenuto in boynton beach. Im having an intimate wedding of 42 guest. The package I chose comes with an appetizer, entree, coffee/teas(soda is extra) the wedding cake(you choose from 3 different bakeries) its called the tropical package for up to 75 guest. You can also host the ceremony there for I think it was $650 and then tropical package is for 3 hours(they have plenty of small rooms for the reception) . You would only have to worry about the officiant, flowers, photographer and some decoration. Lefever photo is local in south Florida for wedding photography and is priced good! The average cost was for the tropical package is $86 per person(this is with tax and service few already) but if you are having only 15 people that should keep you in budget. Call them and get more information the location is beautiful. As for a dress try cocomelody.com, i purchased my dress from them. They have plenty of affordable dress that are beautiful and great price! Their customer service always replied back fast through email. I gave them my measurements since i paid extra for custom measurements and they asked for additional measurements during the email process to make sure everything was correct. I paid like $300 for my dress and love it. It fits like a glove, and is very high quality. If you plan to do an intimate dinner use the website efavormart.com for linen and other decorations. Their prices are cheap and decorations are good quality. I have purchased all my linen from them and its good! I hope this helps and gets you started on looking for places. Try looking up beach ceremonies usually those are to inexpensive and then going to a restaurant for dinner.

Does it have to be in Miami? Check out the keys for intimate wedding packages or a beach ceremony (a few companies do it down there for only a few hundred dollars) then look into a restaurant for the reception dinner, either a private room or just a large party. A lot of keys resorts fees for an intimate wedding package with 1 hr photo, officiant and a cake where about $1500. Then just go to dinner and pay the bill for everyone at the resorts restaurants.
Theres a consignment bridal shop in coral gables called le vie en blanc that has inexpensive slightly used dresses, and the find bridal in coral gables that sells nothing but sample dresses for less than half the cost.
Look for sample dress sales, David’s bridal and even Macy’s (the dadeland location is huge for this)
