Introducing mom, step dad and father

Erin Buchanan, on July 24, 2018 at 7:43 PM Posted in Family and Relationships 0 5
How do I introduce my parents and step dad at the reception? My mom remarried to my step dad a few years ago and my dad isn't remarried.
Do I have my mom walk in with my step dad then my dad by himself? He doesn't have girlfriend or wife.

We aren’t introducing parents at all, so unless it’s something you’re set on, you could always just skip it.

Parents are not usually introduced at the reception. But if you want to do it, you could say "The mother of the bride, Jane Smith, escorted by her husband, Joe Smith." Then have your dad introduced by himself, "The father of the bride, John Doe."

My mom just got married two months ago and FMIL passed last year a week after we got engaged.

Mamabear is walking me down the aisle (dad isn’t in my life). But when it comes to introductions, his dad is coming in by himself and my mom is going with her husband and they’re going to announce, “Mother of the Bride, Audrey, and her husband Paul”

It's rare for the parents to be introduced. Just skip that part.

We aren't introducing our parents, just the wedding party and us.
