Without bringing up $, I'd love to hear your experiences or what you & your FH are planning to do for your HM- specifically the length of time. When I think about being away from all responsibilities for more than 5 days, I feel a little anxious. (I hope I don't sound weird or ungrateful.) I just want to know, does anyone else feel like they may be ready to come back to their home after 5 days away? We are looking into Sandals resorts and I've heard a lot about how great the night life is, which sounds fun but exhausting after the first hour. Lol I'm wondering, are there any great locations for those of us who are a little more introverted and don't want to be out drinking/dancing until 2 am each night? Thanks for reading, if you got this far in the post. I appreciate any suggestions!

We're going to an all inclusive but I don't plan on partying all night or really talking to anyone.

I've been to all inclusives. You are not obligated to participate in the night life at all. If you want, you can hole up in your room or hang at the beach the whole time.

We are doing a week long cruise. I've been to sandals though & you can be as outgoing or introverted that you want. When I went we didn't interact with other couples & had a great time

We are planning on Bali and traveling to Indonesia.

A resort doesn't mane you have to dance and drink and party with others. You can have romantic dinners alone and nice walks. Or hang out at local bars and just enjoy each other.

The honeymoon suite is where most of your nights will be anyways Smiley winking

Unless you go to a singles resort, most of those resorts (like Sandals) have shows and live music in the evenings, maybe a DJ later, but it's definitely not a club atmosphere and also you can always opt out of it! We stayed at the Secrets Silversands for 8 days and it was wonderful!

I'm worried about being gone so long. We are doing Florida and then a cruise to the Bahamas. We will be gone 10 days. FH is extremely extroverted and I lean more towards the introverted side. Balance was something we had to work on but I'm hoping we find a good balance. I'm not a partier he isn't either but I think he will definitely want to do the club on the ship and I definitely don't. So we will see.

We are both very introverted. While we both love vacations, we always realize after being gone that we need a day or two at home to recover/be ready for work the next week. Since we are only taking a week off (and for budget purposes), we are only spending 4 days in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in a resort right on the beach. We decided that we wouldn't try to pack a bunch of activities into the trip. Just some beach time, fancy food, and R&R. For us, that seems like it will be more than enough! Then when we get back we will have Friday-Sunday to just enjoy some time at home, maybe go to the park to read, video games, tv, etc.

For us, since we are both introverted, we are sure to plan for relaxed time that we can drift off and read on our own and explore something together without a lot of people. We already know, for example, that we want to do some tours during our Ireland honeymoon, but that we would struggle if the whole trip was scheduled with things going on everyday. Balance is the key--doing whatever you want to do without feeling any obligation to take part in something going on.

We traveled through South America: Buenos Aires, Santiago and Quito. It was perfect and gave us a chance to explore the cities and spend time together. I wanna go back *insert crying emoji*

We are flying into Norway and then taking a 9 day cruise that does Sweden, Finland, Russia, Estonia, and Denmark. We also might spend a few days in Germany depending on the time. Our whole trip will be about 2ish weeks. Thankfully I have a pretty flexible job with ample vacation time. We are not huge partiers, and I would much rather just sight see and relax. However, I would not want to return after only 5 days. You need time to relax and enjoy your Honeymoon, and 5 days would be pretty rushed for anyone I think.

We are going to Maui for our DW, plan on arriving 4-5 days early to "unwind", shop, and get things together then will stay an additional 5-6 days after. We rented a VRBO condo so we can cook some food for ourselves and relax. I plan on doing a little sightseeing, shopping, relaxing at the pool and beach. We aren't into extreme sports and FH doesn't want to get eaten by a shark so we will see about snorkeling.

FH and I are driving down to Delaware. We are from NJ. We are going to a hotel/casino combo that has basically everything inside. So we can go from the room, to the casino, to the spa, to the pool, etc.

Not sure of your budget, but one of my friends recently stayed at the Four Seasons in Bora Bora. She complained that there wasn't much of a night life and that everything shut down at 9pm. This might be right up your alley. Only problem is you'll be gone for more than 5 days because of the travel time.

DH and I don't dance, don't go to clubs, and don't really drink that much. And neither of us can swim. I don't think we would have had much fun at a resort.

We went to Europe for 3 weeks. It's true that we were a bit tired the last few days, but we don't know when we'll be able to go back, so we tried to see as much as we could. We visited tons of museums and monuments, and had awesome food; we never went to a single bar or club.

    We are homebodies.

I'm looking forward to doing day activities together, eating some awesome food and relaxing.

There's no need to go clubbing. There's gonna be so much else to do wherever you go!
