Invitation assembly mistake big deal or not really!

I’m having major anxiety over this. I already sealed all of my invitations and I just realized I assembled them wrong. I put the rsvp and detail card behind the invitation instead of in front and I put the rsvp card inside of its envelope instead of just on top of it behind the flap. I’m so disappointed in myself that I didn’t even do any research as to how to assemble them the correct way. Someone please tell me this isn’t a huge deal??

Hi Danielle, for what it’s worth we got 2 wedding invitations recently and I couldn’t tell you if the cards were behind, in, out or in which order. I rip them open in an excited hurry and it’s spread on my kitchen table in seconds. Easier said then done, but save your energy and try not to lose sleep on it 😉❤️

As long as all the inserts and envelopes are included, you are fine. Most people will not notice or care what order they are stacked in

It's not a big deal. It isn't like people receiving them are going to be confused. They will open them and find everything just fine.

Not a big deal at all, I doubt most people will even notice that they're assembled "wrong."

Not an issue at all. No one will even think twice about them not being assembled correctly if they even notice. You’re good. All the pieces are included and that’s what matters.

Not a big deal at all. Most people will expect to find the RSVP card somewhere in the envelope. I wouldn't worry about it.

I wouldn't sweat it. As a guest receiving an invite like this, I wouldn't even notice if it were wrong!

I didn’t even realize this was a thing. I planned on just throwing everything in the car and sealing it up LOL. As a guest I wouldn’t even be paying attention.

I'm with Dj - I didn't know it was a thing! Honestly, people opening the invitation won't care how it's assembled, just that they are receiving an invitation. This is the (super) small stuff, so don't sweat it!

No one will care. There are plenty of things to stress over about your wedding that actually matter and this is 100% not one of them. Cut yourself some slack!

You are exactly right! Most people have no concept of proper invitation structure and won't notice at all, and anyone who is nitpicking something like that doesn't sound like a fun person to invite to your wedding.

Wedding planning can be so much fun but also sometimes needlessly stressful. I think when we get so wrapped up it in we sometimes put too much weight on things that really don't matter all that much. I'm sure everyone who gets an invite from you will be excited!

Danielle, I am sure most of the guests will have NO idea of what should go in what order etc. They will be so excited to receive the invitation that it really won't matter. If that is the only "mishap" that occurs during your wedding ceremony, consider yourself very blessed!

When I got my friends wedding invitation I literally could not even tell you what order they were in! I was just so excited I was invited and ready to celebrate with one of my closest friends! I promise you no one will care
