Why are invitations so expensive?????? Everything I'm looking at is over $200 and then there's the cost of postage. I keep seeing post where others say they have saved so much money on Ann's Bridal, Zazzle, Vista Print, Minted and my favorite place ETSY. I guess i'm cheap because to spend over $200...

Why are invitations so expensive?????? Everything I'm looking at is over $200 and then there's the cost of postage. I keep seeing post where others say they have saved so much money on Ann's Bridal, Zazzle, Vista Print, Minted and my favorite place ETSY. I guess i'm cheap because to spend over $200 is insane to me for invitations. I need the invite, RSVP card, Card for hotel info and I planned on another card saying if you play these songs I promise to dance and let the guest name a few songs. Any ideas??? Suggestions????

I make most of my clients suites through Basic Invite or Minted due to the array of selection and costs. If you're interested, I have a code for both.15% off on Minted Code: PHOTOPROCHICJAEAnd 20% off by using the code in the photo

If you’re still looking at invitations, I just got mine off vista print. They’re having a 40-50% off sale right now! I only paid $91!

I paid close to $200 for our invitations and that included and RSVP card and envelope and a details card since we're having a destination wedding. I got mine through Vista Print and I had a coupon from when I ordered our Save the dates. Good luck though! I understand how frustrating it is to try and find nice invitations for a decent price. I went crazy looking for invitations lol

Hi Michelle! and Congratulations once again! Our Wedding is 10-24-2020, however on ETSY I purchase a templette wedding package that had invite, rsvp, etc down to menu and programs. I created my different items. Vistaprint had a 50% off and I uploaded my designs into Vistaprint and my invitations looks really beautiful. The Invite, Rsvp, and details/reception cards came up to about $200, which is relatively inexpensive compared to the so called professional ones and my invites looks really elegant . Yes we do have the expense of postage, however we would even if the invites were free. Hood luck and Vistaprint had really good promotions going on. Invites are up to 50% off. Look into it you. Good luck.

I agree! $600 is a tad much. I am not a cheap person, but the bottom line is those beautiful, well thought out invites go into the trash and I am sorry, I work way too hard for my money. I know we all want the glam and elegance, but I would rather put the saved monies into the food and liquor budget/or décor. Yes invites set the tone for how the wedding shall be but keep in mind we can be creative and embellish on the invites to spruce it. Food for thought. My invites, rsvp, detail/ reception cards I purchased a wedding templet bundle from ETSY and had them printed from Vistaprint and I am so happy with them and about 250 with templette for 100.

To cut costs we're doing online RSVP since most are capable of doing so. This cuts down on postage due to lowering weight, not needing extra postage to send rsvps back, and not having to pay the calligrapher to do return addresses. That alone has saved us hundreds of dollars.

I went through annsbridalbargains.com and got 50 cute all-in-one invitations with customized font and personalization for roughly 80 dollars. They seem to have every kind of invite you could want, and their customer service is awesome.
