Invitation questions

We're having them printed now actually! (4 months out) My FH's sister is a graphic designer so she created the design and knows a place to get them printed at a reasonable price.

We ordered samples from numerous companies about 6 months out, made our selection about 5 months out, ordered about 4 months out (when they had a sale), and received them 3 months out - last week (yay!). We decided on Minted, as we loved the card stock and design options, how additional items could be ordered to match the invitation suite, and the quick turn around for design and production.

I just ordered mine for this upcoming June- I used zazzle but mine are pretty simple so I felt good using them. I liked their save the dates as well

We found our invitations on Etsy! We are ordering ours next month, which is around 5 months before our wedding.

Shutterfly worked well for us. We sent them in late May/early June for our September wedding.

Ordered samples 8 months out. Ordered our invites 6 months out. Received them 5 months out. We ended up going with Etsy because there was a more unique selection & the prices were a lot better (ours were about $200 cheaper than the ones we liked from Minted & Basic).

I used Zazzle and they came with in two weeks! Super fast!

Heads up, it took about 3 weeks to receive the proofs I ordered and then another week to receive the invitations (with expedited shipping). I used Basic Invite.

We got ours on Etsy. The proof is done, just waiting on our tasting (which is soon) to finalize the response cards. Wedding is in June.

I just got mine in from Magnet Street, our wedding is in September.

I knew what I wanted and Magnet Street was having a sale so I got them like $200 off so I just ordered them, we wont mail out until July

Thank you everyone for the ideas. I will definitely do that. I ask because we got a box of invitations that we can do the printing at home. We do need another box, but also would have to get the RSVP cards. Which is fine with us.
