Yes. Because I don't want to hear the comments

Did you order online and fill out the wording including the typo, or did you have someone else designing it and it was their fault? That would make a difference to me.

But as much as it would drive me nuts, I would probably leave it. If it were art of the bigger text I would reorder.

If you are going to frame some, maybe just order a few (for you, your parents, your FIL's)

Seems like UO, but as a guest the only thing I read on an invite is the date, I would never notice this so I would not reprint.

A lot of places will give you a discount on the reprint. I did "Point" instead of "Pointe" and Vistaprint gave me a credit for the cost to reprint, I only had to pay for shipping.

I absolutely would, but then my family and friends are as grammar-Nazi-y as I am and would never, EVER let me off the hook for doing such a thing.

(Still commiserate with ex-coworkers on the time we let a catalog with a 2M copy distribution go out with "indispensable" misspelled...15 years ago.)

I feel like the use of the word adjacent is just odd here

As a guest, I'd notice it. I'd reprint them.

I would reprint them if it is in your budget. If not and people make comments have a funny joke or lighthearted response on the misspelling. It's unfortunate but it happens.

I definitely see why this is a tricky situation. This would irk me so much but I also get that you may not be down to drop hundred of $ to fix it. If it's under 200 to fix, I'd say do it.

FH & I talked about it & decided to just leave it. Paying 75% more for invites to have them redone won’t help the budget any. I shared with a trusted friend (one that will be honest) & she reminded me it’s not like it has missing/incorrect date/time/location listed. I also thought about it more & believe that most guests will not remember the invite after some time. From my own experience…the only invite I remember is my nephew’s, where it was very personalized (their farm pic as the background). I have no idea what anyone else’s invite looks like/how it read, etc. Hell, I don’t even remember what the cakes looked like. LOL

Thanks for all of the input…much appreciated!

To answer a PP's question...these invites were ordered online/not thru a designer where they would have been proofread. I have sent an email to the company. Even though they continue to get 4-5 star reviews there are a few in my same position where the company deletes your 'Saved Projects' once you order your invites. So you have no way to know if the error was on your part or not. I did write up the wording in Word initially & that does have the correct spelling.

I let the company know of that issue (deleting projects) & asked for 2 corrected invites for ourselves & FILs. Other than that...it is what it is.

My zazzle invites had an error that was my fault and they credited my account fully so I re-ordered. I would definitely not send them with an error.
