Invitation Wording

Abbie, on November 14, 2023 at 10:14 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 5

Hopefully a quick question!

We are splitting the cost of the wedding three ways (me and FH, my parents, his parents). How should we word the host line of the invitation?

Thank you!Smiley ring

“Together with their families,” is usually the best way to do it unless your parents all insist on their names being on the invitation (which looks like too much text in my opinion). We had a similar situation, and that’s what we did. Our parents were fine with that wording.

Agreed. "BRIDE and GROOM together with their families ..."

Thank you!! My FH's parents want their names on the invite so I think we will do:

    Together with their families

    Bride

    Daughter of Mom & Dad

    &

    Groom

    Son of Mom & Dad

    That’s probably the best way!
