Invitations and Change the Dates?

My fiancé and I were originally getting married May 24, 2020. Due to COVID-19 we postponed our wedding this past week to May 30, 2021. I am in the process of getting change the dates together to get out ASAP. Because the wedding is so far away, should I send out another round of invitations next March? I have read that typically with postponements, a second round isn't necessary but I wonder if it would help as a reminder for those who might forget.

I think a reminder would be fine actually ! Especially given the fact that your new date is so far away

Yes I would- sending an extra reminder would be important to me especially since a lot of weddings and other events are also being changed, people might need that little extra reminder

Hi Theadosia! Because your wedding is being postponed a full year, I would definitely send new invitations to all of your guests. You will need them to RSVP again, and they will need all the details in order to do that.

All the details for the wedding are actually the same except for the date! We already sent out the change the dates to let them know, made the adjustments to our wedding website, and will send second invites due to everyone’s suggestions. Thank you!
