Invitations: Minted, Basic Invite & Etsy!?

Lisa, on May 6, 2019 at 11:44 PM Posted in Planning 1 21
Hi there!

So I’ve been browsing (obsessively) different websites for our invitations. There are tons of cute ones on Minted, Basic Invite & Etsy! I am leaning towards the ‘All In One’ invites from Minted.

What type of invitations did you choose? Do you have experience with Minted or Basic Invite? Or specific seller on Etsy?

Thank you in advance & have a great week!

Someone on here introduced me to greetings island. It is free to use, only cost is printing and buying envelopes. This may not be for you if you want everything done at one time but I'm using it and saving a ton of money.

I used Ann's Bridal Bargain. They have all-in-one invitations, and they are cheaper than Minted. I actually opted for separates but you get a 2 sided invitation and an RSVP post card included in the cost.

I got the Minted all on one and was very very happy. They feel expensive and I really liked that there wasn’t a ton of extra wasted paper. No envelopes needed!

I love Minted. I have no one to help address our announcement/reception invitations and its just a huge stress reliever for them to do it. I'm getting our wedding invitations from the Painted Papier on Etsy. Her work is excellent and she goes out of her way to provide you with exactly what you want without the custom prices of most shops. I highly recommend both. I have used Ann's Bridal Bargains before, but if I ever use them again, I need to upgrade the paper. Best wishes!!

I love Minted. I tried samples from a few other well known invitation sites, but Minted came out on top with looks and quality. It was a little pricier, however I had no issue with that due to what I was getting product wise.

Mine are from Vista Print, it had the design i wanted at a cheap price that would make my budget comfy and happy and since it is a casual wedding, i didn't really care for it to be fancy.

I loooooved this seller and how my invites came out. I paid $25 for 9 invites, w/rsvp cards w/postage, detail cards, and a special white ink addressing package. All I had to do was seal them and send them off!

The fact that Minted addresses the envelopes is kind of what has me sold! I was trying to figure out how I'd address the envelopes without using labels! I'll have to check out Ann's Bridal Bargains. Thank you!

I loooove the minted invites! You really can't beat how cute their designs are. When I ordered my invites, they even gave me extra slips of this paper to put between to make sure nothing got smudged in the mail. It's just the extra something they put into it, and they're so cute! I have had a great experience!

When I used Ann's a cousin of mine has a fancy printer and it had the same font as my beautiful invitation. So it took about 4 hours to address 175 inner and outer envelopes with the same font. Ann's Bridal Bargains are very inexpensive( but good quality and beautiful). I think they address for a fee, but I don't remember what it is. Best wishes!! I chose Greenery Crown in the Rose gold and burnt rose. It has a black background and the whole suite is lovely. So that's what I'm getting from Minted. Can't wait to see what you choose!💖

I used Magnetstreet for my save the dates which came out absolutely amazing! But it looks like minted is the winner for me for invitations, you can't beat the all-in-one and the free envelope addressing!

I ended up ordering from Zola, but I heavily looked at Minted and Basic Invite. I almost went with basic invite because of the free envelope addressing but Zola had an invitation I liked more. I know a lot of people like the Minted ones though.

I used Minted and I’m so happy with them! Just sent ours out last week and we’ve gotten so many compliments! I got matching details cards and rsvp cards and I loved the printed address! Each invite design has their own little unique address printing design which is a cute detail. I also got to completely customize the color of our invites and got lots of proofs to make sure I was totally happy with our design!
