Who knew pretty paper could get so expensive?! Are you spending extra on upgrades like envelope liners, engraving, and custom calligraphy? Or saving your money on something that gets quickly tossed in the trash! Are you splurging or saving on your wedding invitations? 💌 Photo by Sara Bishop...

Definitely saving. I was even thinking about making them myself to save a bunch of money

Save. We bought our template on Esty and will print them out ourselves.

I want to splurge but I don't want to spend my money on invitations if people just throw them out.
I think I am going basic nothing fancy.

I splurged on the invites but opted to make our RSVP's myself to balance out the cost of the invites. Where I got my invitations from would've charged me another $150 for RSVP's. I made the RSVP's in Microsoft Word for free and purchased the card stock and envelopes from AC Moore for only $12 total. I was able to customize them to say what we wanted (b/c my FH wanted them to be funny), and they perfectly match our wedding invitations. It just took me some extra time to get the perfect navy blue font color to match our laser cut invitations. In the end, our invitations and RSVP's look like a set that would be sold together!

Saving money. If we go for physical invites, I'll make them myself, as I'm a card maker.

Uh yeah, no I’m saving here too. Got the design mostly ready, waiting on engagement photos to add to the back, then I’ll be stalking the site till I find the perfect sale. I’ve got time.

Save. No one really looks at them and there are so many other things that are important to me. I'm planning on ordering mine off of Shutterfly or getting them printed at Walgreens.

Saving, as I bought them in Poland, so it wasn't expensive. However I didn't really count, it was just the project that I liked...
