Invitations to Celebrities

I've seen responses on here from the president and Disney characters.

I want to send to Tom Hanks! And maybe a few Philadelphia raised celebrities. You never know!

But I second the president and Disney characters I've heard to respond.

My friends sent one to the president and got a nice response note that they framed in their apartment

I'm sending an invitation to Keith Urban. But we also met him on stage when my fiancé proposed. I want to sent the save the date, invitation, a letter thanking him and the picture of us we took. Not that I actually think he would show up, I just kind of want him to know how special it was to us, especially me.

Never heard of doing this. Cool idea! Wonder if anyone has actually showed up to one.

I'll be sending one to Robert Downey Jr now because of this post.

OMG, if I have extra, maybe I'll send one to Paul McCartney. Haha

I plan on doing one to the president, Cinderella and Prince Charming, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and the Queen of England. I've seen those work on Pinterest. I haven't looked into others yet.

ETA - By work I mean there was a response received in the form of a letter or something.

My girlfriend sent one to Donovan Mcnabb a few years ago and he showed up with swoop the eagles mascot. They didnt really stay and eat it was more of just an appearance

I'm sending one to Ron Pope because our first dance is to his song and I'm really hoping he at least signs our invitation as a keepsake. Also sending it to the Atlanta Falcons because we are huge fans

If you send an invite to the President, you will get a nice card back! This works for baby announcements, too!

We sent invites to Kobe Bryant and Ray Lewis too but didn't get anything back! haha

Where can we find the address for the president??? I'm also looking for general mattis my husbands a marine and he's his idol lol

Maybe I should send one to FH's favorite band. Our first dance will be one of their songs and our daughter is even named after them. Hm.

I ordered a single invite from VistaPrint to send to our current POTUS since there will be someone new in office by the time we get married. Sent it off but haven't gotten anything back yet.

I'm sending one to Bruce Springsteen, my all time fav. We got engaged at one of his shows in February. Don't expect a response or appearance but ya never know

I'm getting married right down the road from Dolly Parton's childhood home. My sister really wants me to send her an invite. We aren't to that point yet though.

You can actually request a Presidential greeting for your wedding online without sending an invite.
