Invitations

We ordered our save the dates and invitation suite from Penn & Paperie.

We got ours from Etsy.

YEARS ago, I had been looking for cuff links for DH for a gift, and the algorithm pushed "sports team invitations" into my view.

I saw them, favorited the, and told DH (who was only BF at the time), "So, uh, ALGORITHM, was NOT looking, but, uh? Yeah? I'm saving them!"

So, we got Phillies-themed invitations. This was so *us* and also hilarious to our friends, that our officiant referenced them in his 'sermon'. When I got my dress, one of my friends made a joke about how we totally wouldn't go so far as to have invitations like that, and I whipped out my phone, logged into Etsy... and she just laughed and laughed.

...And I just went to look them up and the shop is closed! Oh, that's so sad.

We got our save the date magnets from VistaPrint and our invitation suite from Ann's Bridal Bargains. They had pretty designs and the cheapest prices by far.

I’m getting the from Shutterfly. I ordered some free samples and fell in love with one. We will also be getting the save the date magnets from there too. I loved how they offered a really cute envelope that they print the addresses on for free. One of the main reasons I went with them was for that specific envelope, I just loved it

View Quoted Comment I hadn't either until a few brides mentioned them on WW. When I was researching invites, they were so much cheaper than many of their competitors for what felt like the same quality based on samples I recieved.

We are doing our custom wedding invitations by the Painted Papier on Etsy. She is fabulous!! Love her work. We are doing something extra special for our Caribbean elopement. Sending invitations to immediate family so they can watch our live stream and have somethingfor a photo opt.


Our reception invitation will come from Invitations By Dawn. They are fabulous to work with, too! They have 40% off, often. I've also worked with their sister company Ann's Bridal Bargains and they have huge sales and great prices.
We did our Save The Dates way back before our 1st postponement with Minted. Love them, too!

View Quoted Comment I always recommend Ann's to people. I found them by accident about 3 years ago. I would have gone with them for our reception invite, but their sister company, Invitations by Dawn, has a gorgeous tri-fold invite that will hold 3 photos. Since many of our guests are elderly and don't use a computer, we thought they'd appreciate the photo invite.
