Invitations

Invitations are sent out 6-8 weeks before, a little longer for destination weddings.

So, mid-April, at the earliest. March is much too soon, and people will forget.

You want them to arrive in people's homes about April 12. So Overseas Mail- last of March. Most or all US- about April 5.

Around mid April is perfect. Although I may do a week or 2 early because mail has been very slow lately. I have sent things that take up to 2-3 weeks to get to the receiver who are only an hour or so away.

I'm also getting married on June 12th! I plan to send mine out the week of April 5th. My save the dates took up to 3 weeks to get to some guests and 6 of them didn't make it at all and weren't returned to me until over a month later, so I'd rather send them early
