Hi ladies!
My wedding is June 4th. When should I send out my invitations? Additionally, any recommendations on RSVP date? Thanks so much!

Hi Norha! My caterer needed the final headcount on a certain date, so we made our rsvp date a week before that. Usually are a few stragglers 😂 I sent my invitations 6 weeks prior to the wedding date. Hope this helps!! ❤️

Typically, invitations are sent 6-8 weeks before the wedding. As far as an RSVP date, check with your venue and caterer: do they need a final count by a specific date? If so, set your RSVP date for around a week before then, just to give yourself time to track down anyone who doesn't RSVP, so that you can give your count to the caterer on time.

Standard is to arrive in their homes at 8 weeks, down to 6 minimum. ( Closer you call, like a 6 week engagement.) .......Many employers that require coverage, schoolteachers, stores, anything medical, and most big companies below exec level make and approve time off a month at a time. So whether you send invitations 5 months in advance or 8 weeks, they will only know if they have the day off 28 days in advance. So 21-25 days out for RSVP is ideal . Don't let caterers push you for exact number before 2 weeks out. Once you agree to telling them at 4-5 weeks, you may not have people who can tell you, who want to come, but do not have work approval, and you are stuck in the middle.

Invitations should be sent 6-8 weeks before your wedding. 10 weeks for a destination wedding. Ask your caterer and venue when they need your final headcount. That will give you an for your RSVP deadline. RSVP deadline are typically 2-3 weeks before the wedding.
