Invite assembling

A damp sponge works. LOL I made FH do it.

We bought envelope sealers from an office supply store! Worked really well.

I made FH the envelope licker. We would’ve gone the nice wax seal route but it was too expensive. Oh well!

I would get a damp sponge or paper towel lol, the envelope glue is really not good for you 😷

I have a stationary addiction and love stickers to seal envelopes.
My cousin announced she's engaged as well today!

I asked FH to lick the envelopes, and he accused me of trying to murder him... Remember when George's fiance gets poisoned by licking the invites on Seinfeld... We used a damn sponge.

I'm still waiting for the venue to get back to me so I can secure a date. I don't really care what date it is, I just want that venue. Now I'm obsessing over how everything is going to flow and trying to figure out how I want to serve wine. We are doing a more casual reception with food trucks and no set dinner time so not sure if I want wine at tables or to just have a bar and bartender serve wine. I'm planning on having a beer good truck with some kegs for the beer. Might get a full food truck bar and do bottles of beer instead.

Basically I've been stuck in the obsessing over details before I need to stage!

I assembled our invites solo so I was the envelope licker lol. We didn't have many to put together, so I didn't mind. I topped them off with a cute sticker.

We sent ours out a few days ago. We have lots of cross country travelers, and I have military family members, so the sooner the better.

I tasked FH with licking our STDs 😂 He also was in charge with putting stamps on and return labels. Luckily I checked them all before dropping them in the box because he missed so many of them !!! 🤣
