Invite to Reception?

I know that the photographer, videographer, dj, etc. are supposed to be included in the reception count & food. However, am I supposed to invite the hair & makeup vendors as well? We will be getting ready at a house, then traveling to the venue (about 3 miles away). One of the hair stylists is my cousin, and she is already invited to the wedding. The other hair stylist is an acquaintance, but not enough of a friend to have considered inviting to the wedding. And the make up artist is a total stranger I hired based off her reviews and work.

Yes I’m aware. She said officiant, make up artist & stylist. None of them will be at my reception.

No. Vendors go in a separate count. The ones you feed are the ones that are working your wedding over the mealtime/ the people that are providing a full day of service.

I don’t agree with this at all— it is completely unnecessary to invite your officiant to your reception if they are strictly a hired professional that you don’t otherwise have a relationship with. You certainly CAN if you WANT to, but you should not at all feel obligated to do so.

This was exactly what I was thinking when I saw this post. I couldn't imagine having to serve all of my vendors a plated meal!
