Hi everyone! Is this okay for a wedding invite intro?


Together with their parentsYou are cordially invited to The wedding of
Grooms nameAnd Brides name

    To be more grammatically correct, you would say "Together with their parents, Groom's Name and Bride's Name cordially invite you to their wedding." Right now the "Together WIth Their Parents" isn't connected to anything.

    It doesn't really work that way. Your names should come before the invited line. Like this:

    Together with their parents
    bride's and groom's names
    request the pleasure of your company (or cordially invite you)...

    I think it looks odd to have "we" and also your names. As if you are talking about yourselves in the third person. Any reason why you are reluctant to use the more common wording examples on invitation sites/Google? They are classics for a reason.

    It’s still very clunky because you refer to yourself in both the first person and the third person in the same sentence.
