Invites and Save the Dates

Jazz, on October 2, 2020 at 5:12 PM Posted in Planning 0 6
When you order invites do they come with envelopes?

Is it okay to have one card invites that tell people to look on the wedding website for details and RSVP to save $? Or is this tasteless?

And what are you favorite/most affordable sites for these??
Thanks!

I am doing one card invites with everything on the wedding website and I think it’s totally fine. Everything has gone digital anyway. I ordered mine off shop jandy from Etsy and printed them at a local printer and it was super cheap my printer provided the envelopes for me.

If you purchase at Zazzle, Vistaprint etc, envelopes are separate purchases which add up to $$. Everywhere else, they are included.

You really should have an additional card for website/other info and list the website on your save the dates. How are your guests, including grandma, replying?
You can find full sets of invites at annsbridalbargains.com, Costco.com, Minted.com, Etsy.

I’m ordering from Minted and they have all in one invites (so the invite and rsvp card fold up into an envelope) and you can get them preaddressed as well. I used them for my save the dates as well and they came with preaddressed envelopes and it was so nice to not have to write out a ton of addresses!

Envelopes should be included with most invitation suites.

We put our wedding website on the invites, and directed people to RSVP that way. Eco friendly, cheaper, easier to control who RSVPs (no unexpected +1s...)

I used Vistaprint. There were 3 options for envelopes. I chose the plain white ones that were only $1 for all that I needed. Vistaprint was the best price for me, 80 invitations for less than &70, but that’s with a coupon code (which they’re always having, use Honey). I did not do mail in RSVPs, my cousin just got married in August and was struggling with people returning RSVPs. I was not spending the money on a second card AND double the stamps for them to not return. I gave them our website and my cell number to text/call for RSVP. I mean, I guess it’s not super fancy, but I’m not going for a super formal event. My FH’s parents are really surprised he’s not renting a tux and stuff and that FFIL doesn’t have to wear a suit.

As for timing, I sent mine out about 2 months before our wedding date.

I used vista print for our save the dates and we loved them. They came with white envelopes as well. We included our wedding website on the save the date but for our invitations we will still do a rsvp card as well
