Iphoneographer for wedding day?

Talk to your photographer and videographer to see what they can do. Be specific about what you want as they do have the capability to provide the specialized services you are wanting. Also the modern iPhones are very high quality and have actually been used to film a few Hollywood hits recently, according to technology news. Why do you feel that guests are not able to capture quality images that your pros may miss?

I just feel that their team is more equipped with professional cameras and will be fully focused on shooting & filming during the time being. From past experience, not many guests are capable of shooting good content on their iPhones - bad quality, blurry, shaky, etc. I myself love to shoot detail shots at others weddings, unfortunately I can’t do that on my own big day.

What’s the demographic of the past guests? An elderly grandma who is accustomed to a film camera will have more difficulty than someone of the current generation who is very experienced in phone photography.

I’ve actually seen an account on Instagram that offers this exact service- it might take me a while to find it again though. It does seem to be getting more popular, and if it's something important to you, I completely understand why you'd want to hire someone.

If you are unable to find an actual vendor for this service, maybe you could reach out to someone somewhat local on Instagram, whose posting style you like, to attend your wedding and do this for you.

Something to think about... if you have someone do this job for you, the chance of them just holding up an iPhone camera in the middle of professional shots is very high and it will ruin memorable moments like down the aisle. I would be cautious about this idea, unless you can guarantee they won't be getting in the way of the professionals.
