Ipod Ceremony

Hey y’all! We’re thinking of using an iPod to do music for our ceremony and I’m looking for tips from others who have done the same? Before everyone tells me DJ’s are worth their weight in gold, the ceremony will be SMALL and out in the woods so I’m not sure we even could do a DJ there because I’m not sure if we could run power out. The tentative plan is an iPad with some nice Bluetooth speakers hooked up.
SO for an iPod ceremony, did you guys just use your music app of choice and put someone in charge of it? I’m thinking I only want certain parts of certain songs (ie skipping the beginning and end of a song while bridesmaids walk or something), are there apps that make that easier, or will I need to edit these tracks in some sort of software to make them the length I’d like? I’m open to putting in however much effort would be necessary since this is only for the ceremony music.
Thanks in advance for any tips y’all Smiley smile

For the ceremony only this is feasible. You would need to use some software to cut songs for time at specific intervals. Not sure what those are exactly but a Google search could help. Make sure whoever is operating the buttons is detail oriented and have a rehearsal to get it down pat
