Hi Everyone I've been poking around on Etsy for vintage clutches for my wedding day. Then I got to thinking...what am I going to do with this thing? I somewhat figure my MOH or BM's will be in charge of my phone and anything else I might need. But perhaps I'm wrong? Any advice? Did you use a...

Hi Everyone Smiley smile I've been poking around on Etsy for vintage clutches for my wedding day. Then I got to thinking...what am I going to do with this thing? I somewhat figure my MOH or BM's will be in charge of my phone and anything else I might need. But perhaps I'm wrong? Any advice? Did you use a clutch or do you plan to?

I haven't chosen mine, but I will have some bridal cute and/or elegant clutch. If for one thing only, one good reason to have one, if you are planning on wearing makeup that day? Well, the makeup artist I am using, as part of their package, includes "a few touchup pieces" from their makeup they apply on me that day such as the lipstick or a face powder - so I plan on putting my "touch-up" makeup in this cute little elegant clutch or purse when I find it! If anything, I am sure I will go into the bathroom at least once to touch up my makeup. So a clutch or small purse can be useful. And they are just so cute and fun! Look on Amazon, they have tons and some of the prices are reasonable.

I had one that had only a couple of things in it. The only thing needed wasn't in there - chapstick. I carried it in under my bouquet and left at it at the head table. Easy Peasy.

I don't think I'm going to have one. I don't know where I'd put it or what I'd do with it. We're not having any sort of head table for us or anything since we're doing heavy hors d'oeuvres, so I don't want to carry it around all night.

My Mom bought a beaded white clutch for me. Unfortunately, I put my "something old/something blue" hankie in it and forgot to hold the hankie for the ceremony. I remembered it afterward, so do have some pics of it with me.

I've had a few occasions since to carry the clutch.

I had one I got off Amazon for $20. I kept my phone, ID, touch up makeup kit, and tampons (lucky me!) in it. My MOH graciously ended up holding it for me all night. Other than the tampons, I didn't need anything else in there.

The ONLY reason I got one is because I had my period the day of the wedding and used it to hold tampons and midol. Otherwise I would not have used it at all.
