Okay DIY brides what do you think?
This is a pretty pricing too but

do you think it’s worth it?
how have you used it?
Are the supplies to use cricut expensive?
show me your projects!

I absolutely love my cricut! I'm a teacher, and I use it ALL the time for my classroom. I have seen people use the cricut to address wedding invitations!

One of my bridesmaids has one... she's already has plans to help with decorating my wedding with it.

I love my cricut, I’m still learning but I love using it! I think it’s worth it. Walmart has the cricut air exploration 2 for $227 I believe is what I saw it for.

We have the silhouette brand and absolutely love it. We used it to personalize gifts for the wedding party, made our own signs, rustic table numbers, card box and all sorts of things. We use it all the time for other projects too. You can buy vinyl on Amazon too at a reasonable price

I love my Cricut. I got a great deal from Facebook marketplace. I’m not sure I would have paid full price for it with all the other wedding expenses but I have projects in mind for afterwards.

I can say that my MOH has one and it has been a life and money saver. I'm so glad she has it. So I'd say it is totally worth it.

I have a Cricut and I love it. The newer models like the cricut explore air 2 and the cricut makes have so many uses. Personally I wouldn’t buy one just to use for diy-ing your wedding, maybe see if you have a friend you can borrow from or if a local craft store rents them out? I love to scrapbook and it is the best thing ever! So if you would continue using it, it is worth every penny!

I love mine! For the wedding I’ve made: 133 place cards, yeti koozie labels, wine glass labels, card box, table numbers, welcome sign, favor tags, and an iron on shirt for me

I didn't get a Cricut (got a Silhoutte Cameo) but it's more than paid for itself with everything I've done for our wedding.

Invites, card box, signs of all sorts, table assignment mirror, thank you tags and the list goes on. Even used it to address our invite envelopes to eliminate my hand cramping and not so uniform handwriting and didn't have to hire a calligrapher. I've had so many people ask me where I got invites done and who addressed envelopes.

I bought one around march of this year, and have only used it a few times. You definitely have to have the time for it. But once you figure it out then it's cool. And yes, the supplies get pricey too.

It's very similar to cricut but I just preferred their software over Cricut after some long research. I bought mine off Amazon that came bundled with sketch pens, vinyl and transfer tape and it was $250. I was scared to death to drop that money but its saved me way more than I spent on it. I made a 2'x3' welcome sign that cost me about $20 when you buy them on etsy they easily run $60-$80. Did invites for like $30 worth of materials.

I think it was way worth it. I got my cricut explore 2 as a gift from my maid of honor. I will NEVER be able to thank her enough for such a priceless tool. We did our invites and are now doing thank you notes with it. My only advice, give yourself plenty of time for the learning curve to get it right/find patterns/fonts you like and favorite sources for each. Research materials,(paper, blades, matts, etc.) I HAD to have gate fold invitations,(my only "hell or highwater" dream wedding feature.) Found a five by seven one that only took 45 seconds to cut out on a 12x12 sheet. Used 2 matts to execute this so I'd be cutting and peeling all in one because I had 70 invites to make and did this solo. At hobby lobby paper goes on sale every other week so those were less than 50c a sheet. I have clip studio paint pro (an animator/sketch program. Used that for my fonts and invite design, RSVP and small rsvp envelope for which paper was less than 30c a sheet (amazon bulk paper and cardstock is also a good source). All in all it took a solid 7 days working constantly on them to get it completely assembled and mailed. When I priced out my favorite gate fold invites to order and assemble it was well over $300 for 50 of them and I still would have had to do a lot of work. I got my dream invites for a weeks time and less than $150 in materials (plus the $24 Matt I had to replace in the hard learned lesson of having the machine set to the wrong paper/cardstock setting) with paper to spare for my thank you cards. Not to mention all the other cute decorations I was able to make for our photobooth and cake topper, and other signs. I can't wait to spend time with it for the holidays!
