Are you booking a Photo Booth for your wedding? We are planning for July 2022 and I'm trying to decide if a photo booth is worth the extra $600? My fiancé doesn't see the point at all. My mom seems to think that they are a really important part of the reception. I'm sort of in the middle. I was thinking about setting up a cool backdrop maybe with a ring light where guests can take their own photos with their phones. What do you think?

Personally I think they’re fun just for that day, but years down the road I don’t even remember the photo booth. I remember the wedding, food, and the cake!! Like yes they’re fun but will you care years down the road when people ask about your wedding? I’ve also worked at a lot of weddings and when I worked the photo booth station, it really wasn’t as busy as the food stations or dance floor. I guess it depends on your crowd but for the money I’d rather spend more on the food!

We didn't have one, though many of our friends did.
The problem with the photo booth is that it takes people away from the action, as it were.
We didn't miss it.
