Is age 17 and 18 too old to be a mini groom and bride?

I don't know if I'm alone in this...what's a mini groom and bride??

ETA my first thought is they're adults

At those ages, they are full adult bridesmaids and groomsmen.

I saw a mini bride once on 4 weddings. She was older. I do not understand the point of a mini bride and groom though.

Why not just have them do readings? I never quite understood the mini bride and groom thing.

First I just have to say that the concept of a "mini groom" and "mini bride" creeps me out.

In most states, people can actually get married at that age. Many people DO, in some communities. If you want a mini bride and groom, they actually need to be mini--I would honestly say no older than 5-7 years old.

IMO, there only needs to be one bride and one groom on your wedding day.

Interesting, I'm all for the flower girl looking cute and wearing a white dress. But adults dressing up to match the bride and groom...not so sure

I've never heard of this. Now that I have its weird AF, and they are too old anyway. Don't do it.

Mini brides and grooms are super weird to me anyway.. just- the whole concept is weird.
