Nope! But my first wedding was on Cinco de Mayo, and we hired a local restaurant to do a fajitas / nachos bar. Cheap and went over very well. Smiley smile (Could have had a lot to do with the free-flowing margaritas too. Smiley winking )

I for sure would have rice and beans, fajitas (either tended station or make your own bar), tacos (same as fajitas), roasted pork, taquitos, and oh so much more.. i love mexican and spanish food!

We have a mexican station. I think with build your own steak tacos and chips/salsa. We also have Chinese and Italian stations.

If we had a full on mexican buffet, I'd love to do fajita stations with a chef there actually sauteeing the veggies. YUM

We really wanted a taco truck, but we are getting too close to comfort without a caterer so I am starting to freak a little lol I left the catering up to my FH and am thinking I need to take over soon!

@jenn Yay!! So glad to hear you enjoyed it. We weren't sure how guests would feel, but even picky people like chicken parm!

Not sure yet still depends on the venue we pick but if we get a choice it will be either mexican food or Mongolian because both are pretty affordable.

Dani, I don't think it's too little at all but not sure it would work with buffet style. Tamales, tacos, salad, pozole and menudo.

Maybe you can make it a choice for guests to have option A) Tacos with rice and beans or option B) pozole. And have the tamales as an extra thing.

Menudo tends to be more of a breakfast/brunch food so IDK about serving it for dinner.

FH and I want to have fajitas at our wedding because we always joke that I reeled him in with fajitas. And who doesn't like fajitas? Our caterer will do anything we ask. Well, when we told my mom she stormed out of the room whining that we were turning the wedding into s fiesta. . . . She'll get over it. I love Mexican food and can't wait!

Our venue offers it, and if it were up to me, that's what we'd do. Mexican food is my favorite...but it's not everyone's fave, so we're doing other options.
