Is anyone else’s wedding in 2020?

We got engaged January of this year and are planning on getting married September of 2020! We’re waiting for the same reason, to save money. Already planning but slowly so hopefully makes for a low stress wedding!

Congratulations we have been together 16yrs and engaged for 15 yrs lol we are getting married 18th april 2020 we are doing bits now and our venue is letting us pay little bits at a time too which is a massive help. We are doing 99% of everything ourselves too which is saving us money xx

I am also currently planning for 2020.

I Think it has made budgeting easier, and it allows me to choose what I like without having to worry if it’s too expensive.

My biggest issue has been trying to figure out a date that is good for camping weather.

Congrats!! We got engaged Dec 3 2017 and are getting married Feb 1 2020. So many friends asked us why we are waiting so long but we hope to buy a house next year and lets say money doesn’t Grow on trees. We booked our venue in St. Lucia and thank goodness it comes with the wedding planner. Being that the wedding is a little shy of 2 yrs away we have the ability to do things at our own pace, and we love that!! Happy planning everyone!

I am getting married August 22, 2020.. It will be a 2 year 5 month engagement for me and my fiance.

View Quoted Comment I totally understand! This is our date as well! We selected 10/10/2020 for sentimental reasons, but that was back in 2016. It seemed like such a long time to wait to get married, but it is perfect for us. We have been on the fence about where to get married though. He wants a destination wedding, but I cannot make up my mind on our original venue or an elopement. Having a lot of time is great for so many reasons, but too much time for me to change my mind a gazillion times.... LBVS Happy wedding planning!

Meeeeee! July 18 2020. It was july 20 2019 but we are buying our first house and i didnt want to do the wedding and the house the same year😘

Mine will be 2020 - 10 months was too short for me to plan! Has a nicer ring than 2019 anyway.

We’ve been pushing our wedding back since 2016. Every time we are read some major payment happens in our life so we were supposed to get married August 2019 and we pushed it back to August 2020. I feel like I’ve been waiting forever but weddings are crazy expensive

Hola Mia, my fiance and i are waiting until Oct. 2020, for our wedding day, because my daughter is still in high school and doesn't graduate until June 2020.

we've just celebrated our 6th year engagement anni. back in Aug. 25th, 2018.

Because i'm a retired chef, my fiance and i are trying to find a location for the wedding ceremony, we're looking for a location that's willing to host a wedding reception that will hold a 50-100 guest party, which comes out to $500-$1,000 bill.

But not to worry, what's more important is being with the one you love.

We’re getting married on 05/16/2020. We wanted to get married next year but we decided that financially it’ll be best to wait until 2020. We chose May because he proposed on 5/19/2018 so we wanted to stick with a date that was close to our engagement date. So we’ll be 3 days shy of the two year mark but close enough! The good news is that we are almost done with planning so all that we have to focus on is getting a house!
