Is anyone taller/bigger than their groom?

We're pretty close in height but doesn't mind if I tower over him in heels

We're pretty much the exact same height. Any sort of heel makes me taller than him, though I hate heels so it's rare for me to wear them. I also dislike it when I am taller than him. I wish I was short.

I don't normally mind being taller, but I feel with all those people staring at us, I will feel like a goon. LOL I hope not, but that's my biggest concern right now.

We are also the same size, it bothered me at the beginning but not anymore. funny thing is when we post pics of us and the kids, never fails someone will say awe how cute y'all are all almost the same size, Well I wasnt even thinking of heels and being taller then him in pics till the other day, and I made a comment to him that I was considering no heels cause of our pro pics and he said heck no baby, its who we are so if you want heels wear away...

Noooo lol I'm exactly 5ft and FH is 6ft 5in.

I actually feel like I need stilts standing next to him lol.

@ hillary, you sound like my friends. He is like 6 ft 7 and she is 4 ft 9. It's so funny to see them dance. It's cute acutally, he gets down on his knees, then they are close to the same height.

Funny that you have this thread going.. I am actually a couple of inches shorter then my FH. He cannot handle when women are taller then he is.. He will walk three asiles over in a store to stay away from a taller woman. I don't like to wear heels cause I have bad ankles and he is just fine with that. I plan on wearing a low wedge for the wedding then at the reception I am going for flip flops..

I'm about an inch taller than FH! Flats for the wedding it will be!

I am shorter than he is but I am bigger than he is.

I'm 6ft and Fiance is 5' 8". He doesn't care if I wear heels or not but I prefer not to be taller than him. And I really never caught on to wearing heels either - I have terrible balance and tend to walk like a terrified / drunken sailor whenever I have tried them. So it works out.

I'm 5'7", FH is 6'1" and the shortest guy I ever dated. He's also thin so when I lost all this weight I was excited that you could see him standing behind me (sides, not height wise). LOL

my 5'9" sister is slightly taller than her husband.

I'm not sure I could date someone shorter than me. I have issues, I know.

I'm not taller, I'm about 5'8", he's at about 6' or 6'1". However, I am 207 pounds. He's 150 pounds. I look ridiculous next to him. But I love him, and I'm thinner than when we met (by like 7 pounds) so I guess he must love me back! Lol. I would like to lose weight though, he's such a twig and I want to feel like I match him. His waist size is my thigh. Seriously.

@MrsO I wish I was short as well. I hate when cute petite ladies tell me to be proud of my height lol. You guys still have it better than me though, I'm definitely more than 1 inch taller than him. In bare feet. But hey he doesn't care and I think he's adorable.

I gave my heels to my sister when we started dating, I'm 5'10"... I don't REALLY need them anyway.

The taller part doesn't bother me as much as the bigger part. If I have it my way, I'll be at least 20 pounds thinner by then... which would put me 10 under him. Ugh... 10 under is 10 under right?

I'm with Misty on this one. I'm 5'3 & FH is 6'1 with an insane metabolism so he is a string bean. It def bothers me that I'm bigger than him. When the diet doesn't do too well, I buy him cake lol.

@kelly this is me exactly. About one inch and 10 lbs. he is a little guy! It's definitely motivating to stay in shape but at times I am self conscious about it. There were some engagement pics that I hates because I looked like a giant. My fiancé is wonderful about helping me to not be awl conscious. And I will be wearing flats at the wedding :-)

FH is a couple inches taller, I'm the bigger than him in weight. He is a twig!!

He is only about an inch taller than me, so in heels, I'm taller. I'm still wearing heels at my ceremony. I sadly actually weigh a bit more than him and I've told him this but he doesn't believe me lol. I won't tell him my actual weight though.
