Is anyone taller/bigger than their groom?

My partner is about an inch or two taller than I am. I don't wear heels a lot because I can't walk in them, and they kill my feet, but neither of us cares if I'm taller than he is.

Meanwhile, I'm plus size and he's SUPER SKINNY, so I've got a good sixty pounds on him. We're quite the pair

When I do wear heels around him, we feel like Charlie Sheen and one of his bimbos. We even did that for Halloween one year.

I'm 5'5 and FH is 5'2 or 3. Oh yes, he's short (more on the stocky side). I'm bigger than him too. FLATS for me.

I am 5'2 and he is 5'7 and the shortest guy I have dated. He is skinny, but he has thankfully put on some pounds. He used to be a lot smaller and I am sure he could have fit my size 0's...

I'm 5'5" and FH is 5'8" - I don't really wear heels around him. We're pretty much exactly the same weight though - we both tend to hover around 130. I used to have a little complex about that, but I actually kind of like that we're the same size - OH HOWEVER if I were to try to wear his pants there is NO way they would get over these hips, hahaha

I am 5'4" and 132lbs, and he is 6'1" and 175lbs. I wouldn't care if it was the other way round, as taller/bigger women with shorter/smaller men isn't a thing I find strange. But I know FH likes it that I am smaller than he is, as it symbolises his protective feelings over me. He is quite skinny, though, and wears the 43 pounds he has on me annoyingly well...

Yeah I'm taller too by about two inches, which I used to be self conscious about (he has always liked me being tall) but I'm a lot better with it now. Although I tend to sometimes slouch a little and lean my head in for pictures to look like we're closer in height so I have to make sure I get out of that habit before the wedding. I'll probably just wear flat shoes though to still make it closer in height.

I understand where you're coming from. My FH and I are only about 3 inches different in height, but most of my heels put me either right at his height or slightly over. Also, he's about 150 lbs. and I'm 250lbs. We are both extrememly comfortable with it all. No need for a complex over anything. I'm wearing heels for the wedding and he's getting the curvy bride he desires. It's a winning situation for us. I've suggested dropping weight and he doesn't care either way. At the end of the day, whether I'm thinner or heavier than him, we share a beautiful love story and that's all that matters. Love the skin you're in!!!

He's a few inches taller, but I'm plus-sized and he's not. He's never known me thinner (although he sees the pictures) and he tells me I'm beautiful every day, even when I'm lounging in a t-shirt and wacked out hair. :-)

Well my FH is like 6 foot four and I am five foot eight he weighs more and I definitely look small. He is just one very large man. I love feeling small next to him. He is the only man I have ever dated that was significantly larger then me in any way. However I am still wearing flats at the wedding because I despise most heals.

I'm 5'0! I'm so short and FH has close to a foot on me so I will be wearing a good sized heel for the wedding!!

I am the same. About an inch taller and a few pounds more. I will being wearing flats and will be making sure he has a good heal on his shoes. I am also working out and on a diet so I can lose the extra weight

I am about an inch shorter than FH, so any heel pretty much makes me taller. It doesn't really bother me, but it bothers him. Luckily, I hate wearing heels, so I am rarely taller. We are roughly the same size though he weighs more.

I'm 5'7" & DH is maybe 5'10". Most heels put me a little taller than him ..which he doesn't seem to mind, but I do sometimes haha. I still wear heels every now & then, but not often ;]

A friend of mine wore heels on her wedding day making her taller than her groom....but he didn't care because he was at boob level.

I'm 5'2 and my DH is about 5'6/5'7. On our wedding day I wore heels and was almost the same height as he is. He always said that he was happy to find a short girl since he isn't very tall. Our torsos are the same length, the difference is in the legs.

But I am heavier then him by about 10-15 lbs, not happy about that
