Is Cleavage a Bad Thing?

Robyn, on October 28, 2019 at 10:43 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 1 95
So I have my wedding dress and I absolutely love it. And nearly everyone I show pictures to like it. But now I'm starting to think maybe too much cleavage? My mom loves the dress and thinks it's fine but I did have one of her friends and one of my friends make that dumb comment like "Does your mom/grandma approve?" I'm guessing in reference to the cleavage (even though I'm a 24 year old woman.) Just wondering if it could be too much for the wedding.

I should mention that in the picture the dress is too small and not fitted to my body measurements. I'm guessing once I get the dress in my size it will probably cover more but it's still a deep V.

Short answer: NO, cleavage is not a bad thing!

Like you said, you're a 24 year old WOMAN, rock what you've got! I just decided on a different dress for my wedding with a really similar neckline, just not quite as deep. I think it's the perfect blend of sexy and classy Smiley winking As long as YOU feel beautiful and comfortable with what's showing, that's all that matters!

This dress looks beautiful on you! Now as of is cleavage bad? In my personal opinion absolutely not! If you are comfortable with some cleavage showing then go for it! Now I think this dress is tasteful and that not that revealing in my opinion. The question is: Do you love it? Are you comfortable in it? Can you see yourself walking down the aisle in this dress? I could understand why people would ask if your mom or your grandma approves, but this day isn't about your wedding dress, but it's about your wedding day and how happy you will be when you become married and if you are happy with this dress I wouldn't let other people's opinions about what you wear affect how you feel about the dress you chose. #lovethedress

No cleavage isn't a bad thing! As you said the dress you tried on is too small and your size will fit you better, if you are concerned about it I would wait to see what the dress in your size looks like on you!

Cleavage is not a bad thing, and it's your wedding day!!! I think the dress is gorgeous and will look amazing on you. I had a bit of cleavage in my dress and no one looked twice, except my wife which was what I was going for anyway. If a dress makes you feel beautiful and confident then rock it! That is what every bride hopes to feel on her day.

I think this dress is STUNNING and works well on you, so go for it! I think if you're concerned about showing too much in church you could always wear a wrap but I think this is totally classy and not too much cleavage at all.

I think you look lovely. The deep V gives a little sexy but not too much.

Girl, that's a beautiful dress and you're going to look beautiful on your wedding day! When you said "yes" to that dress you said it knowing you looked sexy and confident and knowing that it was exactly how you wanted to look on the day-of. It's a fantastic dress! Also, your 'ladies' look amazing - all perky.

I'm struggling with how to get MORE cleavage into my ensemble since I'll be wearing a strapless. Gravity is not my friend these days. My ladies need help! What bra are you using? If you tell me it's au naturale I will be so sad for myself. LOL.

I searched extensively for a high neck or bateau and I ended up with a deep V lol Theres a reason so many people go with it, its classic, elegant, sophisticated, and flattering. You look like all of that and more!! It's not too much cleavage at all. Perfection!

No absolutely not. That dress was made for you and it would be a shame for you to change anything about it. You look like a goddess.
